RPC Subscription Service is an
optional feature of Access Remote PC. It
provides seamless, hassle-free connectivity
even if remote computer cannot be accessed
directly via its IP address. It lets you
access any PC regardless of firewalls,
routers, and dynamic IP addresses. RPC
Subscription Service is powered by our
Internet servers and thus requires an active
Internet connection.
How it works: We provide you with an
RPC Number that uniquely identifies your
host computer on the Internet. You should
enter the RPC Number at the host (server)
computer as shown on the picture. After
that, the host computer will be accessible
by the RPC Number. When you want to connect
to the host computer, you just enter the RPC
Number on the
client and press Connect. It's that
easy!
Security: All security protections
described in the
Security section of the documentation
apply to the RPC Service as well.
Security-wise, there is no difference
between providing a direct IP access to your
computer (firewalled or not) and using our
RPC Service. Rather, the RPC Service is
slightly more secure because it adds an
extra passive security layer to the program.
If you have any concerns about security we
will be glad to
answer all your questions.
Important: To allow remote access to
your computer, you should create a user
account on the host computer (on the
Users and Passwords page of the Server
window) and specify username and password.
It is important to choose a secure password.
In order to be secure, the password must be
at least 6 characters long and contain both
digits and letters. You should not use a
word or a combination of words as a password.
If you must use words, use nonsense or
intentionally misspelled words.

Privacy policy: We keep information that
is provided to us with the sole intention of being
able to serve you better. Provided email addresses
are used only to notify you of updates in our
service capabilities, for important announcements,
or to provide requested information. The email
address you give us will not be sold, rented, or
otherwise transferred to third-parties.
